LOVE this little bear character.  He is selected from a digital kit by Snickerdoodle Designs called 'You Are A Masterpiece'.  You can find it HERE.  I made several sizes but this one measures 3 1/2  in. x 3 1/2 in.  The butterfly is from clip art found on the internet.  It is prepared the same way as bear.

This is the mini album I created using the 'You Are A Masterpiece' kit.  Please see earlier post for the instructions.

To make bear freestanding I brought the character into Photoshop work space on a new document layer.   I adjusted it to the size I wanted and then opened a second document.  I moved it to this second document so I could rotate the image and flip it horizontally.  Since I didn't want eyes and a nose on the back of the head I used the clone tool to remove them.  Then I joined them together on one document and printed them.

I printed up several at a time on Whisper White card stock from Stampin' Up.  I cut them out and burnished all the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress ink by Tim Holtz.

I used Glossy Accents glue to mount the two sides together and attach a loop of 16 gauge wire about 3 in. long in the middle.  When glue was dry I trimmed up the edges and touched up ink.  Then I coated each character with Micro Glaze and set to dry overnight.

And there they are!  All ready for their new homes.  You can put just about anything on a wire for them to hold.

                                                          Thanks for stopping by!

This is my Pocket Page Mini Album.  I created it by using directions from Ginger at 'My Sisters Scrapper' website.  You can go to that 'Pocket Page Mini Album' Tutorial Series HERE.
There are five parts to the video and they are wonderfully done and easy to follow.  She will tell you how to change albums to any size you want.  My album is 3 1/2 in. wide by 4 1/2 in. tall.  The spine is 2 1/2 in. wide.

Here is the inside cover and first page.  The page has a pocket that holds a photo card that I have extended just for the photo.  A photo can be attached to both sides of all the photo cards in the album.  I have also left many of the pages with just a background paper for mounting photos.

This page has a more slanted pocket and another photo card.  I selected 'You Are A Masterpiece' collection from Snickerdoodle Designs for all the backgrounds and elements throughout the album.  You can find that kit HERE.

A vertical band holds the photo card on this page.

Before cutting out shapes or pages, I selected all the backgrounds and elements I wanted to use and printed them.

This page had a corner pocket to hold photo card.

Horizontal paper band holds the photo card on this page.  I used two different dies throughout the album.  One was Doily Circles and the other was Nesting Scallops.  Both are by 'We R Memory Keepers'.

Here's the inside cover of back page.  All of the pages and cutouts in the album were burnished with either 'Gathered Twigs' Distress Ink by Tim Holtz or 'Brocade Blue' by Stampin' Up.

And finally this is the back page.

                                                              Thanks for stopping by...
