ALTERED WOOD BLOCK

I altered this block of wood using a piece of unknown Graphic 45 paper.  It measures  5 1/2" x  6 1/2" and is 1" thick.  It is decorated with silk flowers and elements from clip art on the internet.   Additional greenery is made with a die from Tim Holtz called 'Tattered Florals'.

This second block is the same size.  I used a Graphic 45 kit called 'Safari Adventure'.

Both are covered on both sides and can either hang on a wall or set in an easel.

TOWER/STEP BOX

I was inspired to make this box from a tutorial I saw on 'Scrappy Bookworm'.  I chose a digital kit called 'Beatrice' by Snickerdoodle Designs as my theme.  Measurements are  3 1/4" x  3 1/4" x  6 1/4".

This is the sentiment on top of box.

Panels on the outside of box.

Surprise!  The inside is full of boxes for storage.

3D TUNNEL CARD

I created this card using white cardstock paper.  The background papers are from a digital kit created by Debbie Kerkhof of Zquizart designs.  For the fonts I used Jellyka Bees and CAC Pinafore.  Card measures  4 1/2" x  6" x  4 1/2".

Showing the layers that make up tunnel.  The assorted elements are from a digital kit called 'Beach Days' by Snickerdoodle Designs and from clip art on the internet.

Here's a place for additional sentiment on the back of card.

ACCORDION FILE FOLDER

I created this 'Accordion File Folder' using a regular sized file folder.  I used a digital kit by Lorie Davidson called 'Tickets to Dragons End' for the background papers and panels. Finished  measurements are  4" x  7 1/2".

This is the folder pages inside before I folded them to form album.

Here are the removal panels before being inserted into pockets.  The background panels are stationary.  Eyelash yarn is used to help remove panels and add color.

Here's the back cover.

REINFORCED GIFT BOX

I created this Reinforced Gift Box using Graphic 45 papers.  I was inspired by a tutorial I saw at Sam Calcott Mixed Up Crafts.  Wreath is made using Sizzix Thinlits 661597 dies.  It measures about 4"x 4"x 6".

The sentiment came off clip art on the internet.  I used Stickles 'Glitter Gel' on the greenery.

FALL TOPIARY

I created this 'Fall Topiary' using various strips of cardstock.  The large rosette measures about 6 1/2".  Total height is about 12".

I began by cutting the panels that formed the rosettes.  There were a total of four.  The floral elements were made by using Tattered Floral dies by Tim Holtz.

The base is a  3" seedling pot from the nursery.  I filled it with tiny aquarium rocks so it wouldn't fall over.  Then I hot glued half of a  3" styrofoam ball on top to hold dowel in place.

Here's a photo of the backside.

FLORAL SLIDER BOX

I was inspired to make this Floral Slider Box by a tutorial I saw by "The Posh Paper Lady".  She made the basic box.  I embellished it to make it my own.  To make the box I used a floral file folder by Currant Catalog.

The drawer slides out.  I created feet for the bottom by stacking Scrabble tiles together.

This is the box upside down.

Top of the box is decorated with a strip of lace and wildflower silhouette dies from Tim Holtz.  There is also a ladybug wood embellishment.

                                                                Close up of floral cluster.

'TEE PEE' CARD

I designed this 'Tee Pee' card using the basic measurements by 'Mixed Up Craft' you can find that tutorial HERE.  I chose the larger size.  This card is about 6" tall.

I laid the card open to add all the layers and elements.  I used magnets to hold back pieces together to form the tee pee.  Background papers are from Graphic 45.  The flowers are from a digital kit called 'Fred She Said' and the ladybugs are from clip art on the internet.

DENIM AND DIAMONDS TAG ALBUM

Using the large tag die from Graphic 45 I created this 'Tag Album'. The finished measurements are   4" x   5".  There are a total of six pages.  I designed the original templates and my friend, Priss, designed the pages using a digital kit from Raspberry Designs called 'Denim and Diamonds'.

These are the inside pages.  Not showing up well on the pages are lots of rhinestones and glitter.

                                                                  Here's the back cover.

FOLDING PHOTO ALBUM

This accordion style 'Folding Photo Album' starts out quite large.  But folds down to a  4"x 4" square and is held together by ribbon on both sides.  The quotes throughout the album are from Dr. Seuss.

Here is the album opened up to show all the photos and quotes.  I used standard 65 lb. weight cardstock for all the pages.

                                                                  Here's the back cover.

I made a video on You Tube if you would like to make one of your own.  You can find that

AMERICANA WOOD BLOCK

I created this 'Americana Wood Block' using a variety of stars and stripes and good old Uncle Sam embellishments found on the internet.  It measures about 4"x 4".

I prepared the wood blocks by coating the corners with a coat of Gesso and then a coat of black acrylic paint.

I made templates for the sides and top using the backgrounds from a digital kit by Chicory Cottage.

The cluster on the top is a combination of the kit's elements and clusters from a Tim Holtz die call 'Tattered Florals".

This is the back.
