I first saw the video on how to make these cupcakes about four years ago. Ms. Liberty had them as part of her 'Submission Project' for Graphic 45. You can see the video HERE. I fell in love with the EK petal punch and have used it in countless projects.
I burnished all the edges of the flowers with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I used a 3 3/4" circle cardboard coaster as plate for the cupcake. Glued it to a single glass candle holder to serve as base. The cupcake base is made with a 9 oz. size paper cup and is 2" tall.
Top half of cupcake is a 3" round Styrofoam ball cut in half.
