CD MINI ALBUM

     A fun way to recycle old CD's.  I designed this Mini Album as a project for the Papers n' Pixels crafting group.  I used the 'Pass It On' kit from Snickerdoodle Designs.  You can find it HERE.  The flowers and pearls are from my stash.

I first made the templates using Photoshop Elements 15.  Then printed on Reflections cardstock from Michaels.

     I used Elmers Quick Bond glue and glued all the front and backs at the same time.  Then glued a doily onto each side.  Trimmed the edges and burnished with 'Gathered Twigs' Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.

Page 1 is a round folder held together with a ribbon.  Showing here opened and closed.

Page 2 is a simple photo mat.  The butterflies are a Stampin' Up punch.  I had printed up extra background pages to use for them.

Page 3 is another mat folder.  Shown opened and closed.

ALTERED PATRON BOTTLE

     Here's my 'Altered Patron Bottle' filled with my favorite candy, 'Candy Corn'.  The flowers are called 'Spoon Flowers' because I used a measuring spoon to get the extreme curve to the petals.  Becca Feeken has a fun video HERE if you'd like to make some.

     I pretty must followed her directions.  Loved blending the inks with water.

     I used 'Tattered Florals' die by Tim Holtz.

After forming the petals,  I hot glued a round blue glass marble in the center.

ONESIE MINI ALBUM TWO

     'Our Little Lamb' Onesie Mini Album was made exactly as the previous album.  The backgrounds and elements are from 'In The Meadow' kit by Nit Wit Collections.  You can find it HERE.  Size is also the same, 6 1/2'  x 6 1/2'.

     Two photos of pages 1 and 2.  The first is without the photo mats.  The second is with them.  Lots of fancy cutting! 

     The album is set up to be a 'First Year' of baby.  The small round cut outs are months one through twelve.  THAT is going to fill up fast! 

     And here's the back.  The envelope has a magnet closure and has an extra photo mat in it.  Also some strips of removable tape to hold photos in place...
