ARTIST TRADING COINS

I created these 'Artist Trading Coins' for the March challenge at Frilly and Funky.  They measure 2 1/2" in diameter and about 1 1/2" tall.  Challenge can be found HERE.

'Love Nature' is made with scraps from my stash.  Punch is 2 1/2" scalloped punch by EK.  Bees are fussy cut clip art mounted on wires.  Flowers are made using TinyTattered Floral dies from Tim Holtz.  

I glued a piece of styrofoam onto base to get some height for the flowers.

Using the same base I mounted a rose made from Tattered Florals by Tim Holtz and added two small ceramic birds.

POP UP BOX CARD

I created this card using Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe Collection.  The flowers are from a great digital series that 'Fred She Said' put together.  You can find that site HERE.

GIRAFFE

This giraffe is the first animal in 'My Menagerie'.  It is about 7"x 1 3/4".  Made of cardstock and mounted on a slab of chipboard that measures 1 1/2" x 3".

I found the giraffe on line and brought it into Elements 15 for coloring and sizing.  After cutting it out I mounted it on the chipboard and attached the wheels.

I used Tattered Florals dies by Tim Holtz for grass.

SLIDE AND POP DRAW BOX

I created this 'pop up' slide box using scraps left over from 'Curiosity Shop' collection from Graphic 45.  I placed pop dots under the fancy cut images to make them stand out better.

This is the box with the tray pulled out.

The box measures 3 1/2" x 7 1/2" and is 1/2" deep.  The instructions that I followed were from Sam at 'mixedupcraft.com' and can be found HERE.

This is the backside.

This is a second box I made as a 'Feel Better' gift for my friend who just had knee replacement surgery.  I put a large candy bar inside.

I used the same scraps from my stash.

BRAG BOOK

Onesies shaped brag album.

I created this Onesies shaped album out of cereal boxes.  It measures about 6 1/2" by 6 1/2". 

Pages are held together with 2" metal rings.

This is a one year album.  So pages are labeled for each month.

Background pages are made by printing designs from and unknown kit on cardstock.

Embellishments are from clip art images found on the internet.

LIGHTED LANTERN

I created this 'Lighted Lantern' by altering a Patron tequila bottle.  Medium sized.  I used a string of white twinkie lights inside.  The bottle stopper is a converted dresser pull handle.

I used E6000 glue to adhere several brass metal embellishments.  The colored plastic beads are melted pony beads.

I then used a blend of multi colored mini glass beads to fill in the empty spaces and added a bow.

GIFT HOLDER BOX

I created this 'Gift Box' on round legs using the digital kit 'This Is Me November' by Karen at Snickerdoodle Designs.  You can find that kit HERE.

The box measures 4 1/2" x  6" and is 2 3/4" deep.

I painted the 1/2" beads with acrylic paints.  The flowers are cut out of cardstock using background colors from the kit.  Die is Graphic 45 Flower Metal Dies.

There is a wonderful tutorial by Ginger at My Sisters Scrapper that I used for measurements.  I brought the measurements into Photoshop Elements 15 to use as templates using the wonderful backgrounds from 'This Is November" kit.
