ALTERED WOOD BLOCK

 

I created this altered wood block for a friend who is celebrating the 5th anniversary of her business.

This 4"x4" wood block is wrapped in cardstock using Graphic 45's Christmas Time Collection.  The mushrooms are from a digital kit called 'Enchanted Mushrooms' by Etsy designer Molly Anne Pinkleton.  I added a few silk flowers and some cardstock curly queues.

DISPLAY CASE

 

This Display Case has an acetate see through lid.  Inside are a set of gift boxes adaptable for any occasion.  The Display Case measures 6 1/2" x  6 1/2" and is 3" deep.

I used Velcro dots as a lid closure.

GIANT PAPER PUMPKIN

 

I was inspired to make my own 'Giant Paper Pumpkin' after seeing a video in Mrs. B's Craft Room.  It measures about  7 1/2"  tall by 7" wide.  If you would like to make one HERE is her video.

FLIP TOP BOX with GIFT BAG

This gift set is made with papers from 'Everyday Kraft' .  A heavier type of paper.  The gift bag measures  2" x  6" and is  5 1/2"  deep.  The coordinating flip top box measures  3 3/4" x  4 3/4" with a  1 1/4" spine.

I was inspired to make the gift bag after seeing a tutorial  by The Posh Paper Lady.  That video can be seen HERE.  There is a video for the box on my You Tube channel

TWIST-n-FOLD CARD

 

I was inspired to make this 'Twist-n-Fold Card' after seeing a video on Mixed Up Craft by Sam Calcott.  It measures  about  6" x  6".

This is the inside with a sentiment for Mother's Day.  White flowers are from a digital kit by Laurie Furnell on Etsy.  Bees are from Clip Art on the internet.

 

Here's the inside with a   2" x   3" tag to slip into the inside pocket.  It reads 'I love the little things you do'.

POP-UP BOX CARD

This is a 'Pop-Up Box Card' made from cardstock.  Patterned background papers are from a digital kit by Laurie Furnell at Etsy.  The rest of the ephemera is from clip art on the internet.  I brought it all into Photoshop for sizing and colors.  Box is about 6" tall and 4" wide and can be folded up into a  5" x  7" envelope.

The stars and hearts are attached to long pieces of clear plastic.  The other end is attached to the sections on the inside of the box.

BIG BOW GIFT BOX

I was inspired to make this 'Gift Box' after seeing a tutorial by Sam Calcott.  I used Graphic 45 cardstock.  Top and bottom are reinforced for sturdiness.  I used a 3" scalloped circle die to make windows on all four sides.  I attached clear acetate on the inside.  I then mounted three dimensional  butterflies on the outside.  It measures 5" x  5 1/2".

Here's a close up of the 'Big Bow'.  It is made of stripes of patterned cardstock with a silk flower in the center.  I also attached two bows and some greenery.
