'Frilly and Funkie' is sponsoring a challenge that wants 'numbers' to be used in the project. I have chosen to create this 'Wookey House' made with wood blocks. They are not always perfectly shaped...but always fun!
If you would like to join in on the fun and a chance to win a $25 spending spree at 'Frilly and Funkie' you can find information HERE.
I started with cutting my blocks of wood in the shape of a house.
I used Gesso to paint all the edges and covered that up with black water based paint.
Using Mod Podge, I attached cardstock weight paper to the pieces. The base is setting up on four round wooden pegs.
The Bingo themed elements and signs came from clip art on the internet. I burnished all the edges with Tim Holtz Fired Brick and Crushed Olive Distress Inks.
This is a close up of the chimney and it's 'Bingo Cage'.
One side of the House.
This is the back of House and the other side as well. I used 'Tiny Tattered Florals' die by Tim Holtz for the patches of grass and 'Grass' die from Impression Obsession for the long grass.
Thanks for stopping by!
