TOWER-N-STEP BOX

This project is called a 'Tower-n-Step' box.  It measures 3" x  8" including the little bunny on top.  Cynthia at The Scrappy Bookworm is where I first saw this box.  You can find that tutorial HERE.

Her tutorial was done using a Halloween theme.  I wanted to design my box as more of a Springtime theme.  I used a digital kit called 'Dreamin Of Daisies' by Karen at Snickerdoodle Designs for the background panels.  It is now retired.  The other elements and characters came from clip art on the internet.

These are the panels that go together to make the outside of box.

This is what the inside looks like.

Here's a close up of the top.

LITTLE PIN CUSHION

I designed this fancy pin cushion as my entry to 'The Funkie Junkie Boutique' March challenge called 'Little Things'.  You can get more information at The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog HERE.

A friend of mine had made me this darling 'little' pin cushion to hold my special stainless steel pins.  It measures about 1 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" high.  She used a simple orange juice lid for the base.  Very clever.

So I collected some of my favorite scrape papers along with an old wooden spool of thread and started putting all the 'little' objects together.

Here's another view of the pin cushion.  Final height is 3" glued to a 3 1/4" base.

FLIP TOP BOX with GIFT BAG

I created this 'Flip Top Box' with a matching 'Gift bag' using a couple different tutorials. Both are tutorials by Sherry at 'The Posh Paper Lady'. The first I used to make the flip box.  It measures about 4" x  4 1/2".  The video is available HERE.  The video for the gift bag is HERE.

I followed Sherry's directions for the measurements but wanted to create my own designs.  I made templates in Photoshop Elements and cut them all out.

The background and elements used came from a digital kit by Lori Davidson called 'Flying Dreams Storybook Collection'.  This is the cover of the box.

This is the box spine.

Here is the back of the box.

This is a pic of the box opened up.  All the papers used for the box were two sided.  Designer unknown.

ALTERED PRINGLES CAN

This is a standard sized Pringles can that measures 9" high.  I created it as my entry for the  'Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog' challenge called 'Let's Play Tic Tac Toe'.   I chose vertical lines Layers - Bling - Die Cuts.  You can visit their blog HERE to learn all about the challenge.   I outlined with clear rhinestones for my 'Bling'

The paper is Graphic 45 'French Country'.  This is the back.  By reversing the paper I was able to 'Layer' strip at base of can.

Close up of sentiment on the back.  Flowers are created by using two different 'Die Cuts'.
Flower dies from Graphic 45 Tag and Flower Dies.  Centers are created from Tim Holtz Tiny Tattered Floral Dies.

Close up of flowers cascading down the front.

Close up of lid.  Bee hive and bees used throughout were found using clip art on the internet.  I brought them into Photoshop Elements for sizing and coloring.  Frog is created in the same manner.

'GNOME' MILK CARTON TREAT HOLDERS

I designed these little 'Gnome Milk Carton Treat Holders' as my entry for The Funky Junky Blog Challenge for December.  It is called 'It's The Holidays' and I think these fit right in.  If you would like more information you can find it HERE.  I was inspired by a wonderful video tutorial by Ginger at 'My Sisters Scrapper".  You can find that HERE.

I found these darling little Gnome characters on the internet and brought them into Photoshop Elements for sizing.  The little jingle bells on the hats came from by stash.

So I took the The Funky Junkie's advice and sneaked off to my 'studio' to play.  The finished cartons are 3 1/2" x  2".  Papers are mostly Graphic 45 scraps from a couple Christmas's ago.

'FABULOUS FALL' Challenge

I created this little pull toy for the 'Funkie Junkie Boutique' challenge called 'Fabulous Fall'.
Finished measurements are 4 1/2" x  10".  You can get more information about the challenge
by going to the 'Funkie Junkie Boutique' HERE.

I started with a block of wood measuring 2" x  4 1/4" x  1".   The labradoodle and man in the moon are made from clip art found on the internet.  I brought it into Photoshop Elements for sizing and coloring.

I choose these papers from my stash because of the Fall colors.  I distressed the edges and applied papers to the block using Mod Podge.

I further distressed the edges with turquoise paint and spritzed with Glimmer Mist.

Banner reads 'Love' on one side and 'You' on the other.

Close up of the dog and the flower bed he is sitting in.  Flowers are made using Tattered Floral die by Tim Holtz.  Also added a few tiny rocks.

Here's the backside.

I am so happy to announce that I won one of the 'Top 3 Badges' awarded for this challenge!

HALLOWEEN APRON BOX

I created this Halloween Apron Box for the 'Funkie Junkie Boutique Challenge' called "It's Halloween".  You can find all the information HERE.

I cut the basic box using the Sizzix Bigz XL Die call 'Apron Box'.

I made templates 1/4" smaller than the die pieces.  These I decorated with images found on the internet clip art sites.  I brought them into Photoshop Elements for sizing.

Here's one side of box.

Here's the other.

And here's the back.
