TEEPEE FOLD CARD

I created this free standing card as my entry to 'The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog' May Challenge called 'On Man!'.  The idea was to create something with a more masculine look.  You can find more information on this HERE.

This is the side.  The third side is blank so as to be used for a sentiment.  Sam at Mixed Up Crafts has a wonderful video on how to make this Teepee.  You can find that HERE

I used glitter papers as well as papers from Graphic 45's 'A Proper Gentleman Collection'.  All the edges were burnished with Gathered Twigs Distress ink by Tim Holtz.  This Teepee measures 7" x  5 1/2".

I got the truck from clip art on the internet and attached it using pop-ups.  The rest of the metal embellishments and the rosette came from my stash.

Here's a close up of the tiny rocks and beads I used in the corners and in the back of the truck.

GRADUATION CARD

I created this 'Twist - n - Pop' card for Grandson's college graduation.  When it is closed it measures 4" x  6".  There is a wonderful tutorial for this.  You can find that HERE.

Opened up it measures 9 1/2" x  12".  I made my own papers using clip art on the internet.

Close up of the sentiment.

Here's the back side.

FLIP LID CUBE GIFT BOX

I created this project as my entry for the April Challenge at 'The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog'.  The theme is 'A Mothers Love' and we needed to use the word 'love' in the project.  You can find more information HERE.
I am so happy to announce that I won one of the 'Top 3 Badges' for this challenge!!

I used a great tutorial by Sam at 'Mixed Up Craft'.  She even showed how to make a very useful template for folding and cutting.  That tutorial is HERE

This is my flip lid box before I decorated it.  I used papers from the 'Fairie Dust Collection' by Graphic 45.  Box measures 3 1/2" x  3 1/2".

This is the basic set up using scalloped nesting dies, floral leaf and heart shaped dies.

Here's the back of the box.  The dragon flies came from clipart on the internet.  I brought them into Photoshop Elements and sized and colored them.

MINI SCRAPBOOK FOLIO

I created this 'Mini Scrapbook Folio' using the 'French Country Collection' from Graphic 45 Designs.  It measures 4" x  6" when closed and secured with a ribbon.

Opened up it measures 6" x  12".  This is the outside.  The middle section is actually the back.

This is the inside. On the left is a corner pocket for lists or journaling mats.  The middle is a waterfall section secured with a magnet/ribbon.

This is the inside showing the flap that lifts up on the right.  Under it is a storage pocket.

This is showing the waterfall opened up.  Plenty of room for photos.  I used a wonderful tutorial at 'The Scrappy Bookworm 1' for my inspiration.  You can find that HERE.

TOWER-N-STEP BOX

This project is called a 'Tower-n-Step' box.  It measures 3" x  8" including the little bunny on top.  Cynthia at The Scrappy Bookworm is where I first saw this box.  You can find that tutorial HERE.

Her tutorial was done using a Halloween theme.  I wanted to design my box as more of a Springtime theme.  I used a digital kit called 'Dreamin Of Daisies' by Karen at Snickerdoodle Designs for the background panels.  It is now retired.  The other elements and characters came from clip art on the internet.

These are the panels that go together to make the outside of box.

This is what the inside looks like.

Here's a close up of the top.

LITTLE PIN CUSHION

I designed this fancy pin cushion as my entry to 'The Funkie Junkie Boutique' March challenge called 'Little Things'.  You can get more information at The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog HERE.

A friend of mine had made me this darling 'little' pin cushion to hold my special stainless steel pins.  It measures about 1 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" high.  She used a simple orange juice lid for the base.  Very clever.

So I collected some of my favorite scrape papers along with an old wooden spool of thread and started putting all the 'little' objects together.

Here's another view of the pin cushion.  Final height is 3" glued to a 3 1/4" base.

FLIP TOP BOX with GIFT BAG

I created this 'Flip Top Box' with a matching 'Gift bag' using a couple different tutorials. Both are tutorials by Sherry at 'The Posh Paper Lady'. The first I used to make the flip box.  It measures about 4" x  4 1/2".  The video is available HERE.  The video for the gift bag is HERE.

I followed Sherry's directions for the measurements but wanted to create my own designs.  I made templates in Photoshop Elements and cut them all out.

The background and elements used came from a digital kit by Lori Davidson called 'Flying Dreams Storybook Collection'.  This is the cover of the box.

This is the box spine.

Here is the back of the box.

This is a pic of the box opened up.  All the papers used for the box were two sided.  Designer unknown.
