AMERICANA WOOD BLOCK

I created this 'Americana Wood Block' using a variety of stars and stripes and good old Uncle Sam embellishments found on the internet.  It measures about 4"x 4".

I prepared the wood blocks by coating the corners with a coat of Gesso and then a coat of black acrylic paint.

I made templates for the sides and top using the backgrounds from a digital kit by Chicory Cottage.

The cluster on the top is a combination of the kit's elements and clusters from a Tim Holtz die call 'Tattered Florals".

This is the back.

BEACH BOX

I created this 'Beach Box' using standard cardstock.  It measures  4" x  4" and has a tab for a pull out drawer.

The embellishments came from a few different sources:  The sentiment on the front came from a digital kit called 'Beach Days' from Snickerdoodle Designs, waves on the sides came from a kit called 'Mermaid Chronicles' by Royanna Fritschmann and the other embellishments were found on the internet at 'Clip Art'.  I brought everything into Photoshop Elements for sizing and coloring. Then cut them out.

Close up of the nesting bird.  White grasses are made from floral dies.

This is one of the sides.

Here's the back.

If you would like to make one of your own, I made a You Tube video.  You can find that HERE.

FLORAL UTILITY BOX

I created this 'Floral Utility Box' by using the basic measurements from Country Craft Creations.
It measures  2 1/2" deep  x   3" wide  x   5 1/2" long.  The patterned paper I used is from a tablet from  'K&Company'.

This is the box opened up.

Close up of the lid.  The flowers and leaves are from assorted dies and punches.  The bees came from clip art found on the internet and adhered with pop-ups.  The lid flap is held in place with magnets.

TEE- PEE CARD

This is a larger version of a 'Tee-Pee ' card.  It is about  5" wide and stands 7" high.  I made the base from regular cardstock.  Background paper is Graphic 45.  There is a great video made by Sam Calcott at Mixed Up Crafts.  You can find that HERE.

Here is the card opened up and laid out flat.  Grass is a die from Honey Bee Stamps called Grass Border.  The truck, stamps and bees are all from clip art on the internet.  I brought them into Photoshop Elements for sizing.

Here's the side view.  Backside is white triangle for writing sentiment.

TWIST-n-FOLD CARDS

I created these 'Twist-n-Fold Cards' using the basic measurements by Sam Calcott at Mixed Up Craft.  If you would like to make one of your own, I have made a video on You Tube.  You can find that

HERE.

I used cardstock to construct the base of the card. For the flowers I used a flower image and cut them out with my Scan-n-Cut machine.  Also using cardstock.

                                                                       This is the back.

This is a   2 1/2" x  3 1/2"  tag to be tucked inside.  I used eyelash yarn to make fringe.

This second card is made the same way.  I got the fish and cat's tail florals from clip art on the internet.  Then brought them into Photoshop for sizing.

This is the inside of card.

                                                                   Here's the back.

STORAGE ENVELOPE

I was inspired to create this 'Storage Envelope' after seeing a tutorial by Karon at 'Karon's Krafty Korner'.  You can find the directions HERE.  I used her basic measurements for the Envelope but then went with a more Springtime theme.  The background papers are from a digital kit by 'Nitwit Collections' called 'In The Meadow'.

This is the envelope opened.  It closes with magnetic discs under the little flowers.  The Beehive and the Bees are from clip art on the internet which I brought into Photoshop Elements for sizing.  Edges are burnished with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.

                                     Here's the back.  Envelope measures  4 1/2" x  6 1/2" x  1".

VALENTINE TREAT PURSE

I was inspired to create this little 'Valentine Treat Purse' by seeing a tutorial by 'May May Made It'.  You can find that HERE.  I used her measurements for the basic purse but altered the design and made it my own.  It measures 2 1/2" x  5" x  3".

I made templates using Photoshop Elements for the patterned paper by an unknown designer.    For the heart and bright colored cardstock embellishments I used a set of stacking dies from 'In Love Arts'.  They are each attached with pop-ups.
