CHRISTMAS EXPLOSION BOX

I was inspired to make this large  4'' x  6'' 'Explosion Box' after seeing a tutorial by Kathy Clement.   She had a great idea of how to make a box of this size and her very clever acetate box in the middle made it just what I was looking for.  The panel measurements are my own.  The background patterned paper is called 'Jingle All The Way'.  It is from an Etsy designer.

I decided to make a utility storage box.  Inside I have created panels with matching snowmen.  Behind them I have storage for my gift tags for the Holiday.  The acetate box holds tape, string and scissors.   Snowmen came from a kit called 'Jingle All The Way' by Home Shopping Network.

HARVEST Z-fold CARD

I created this Z-fold Card out of regular 65lb weight cardstock.  When extended it measures  5 1/2'' x  9'' but folds up nicely into a  5 1/2'' x  5 1/2'' envelope.

Close up of the pumpkin patch with scarecrow.  The ephemera is from Etsy designer Laurie Furnell.  The kit is called 'Fall'.  I brought the images into Photoshop Elements for sizing then ran them through Brother's Scan-n-Cut.

This is the back with a large space for sentiment.

SUNFLOWER SHAKER GIFT BOX

I created this Sunflower Shaker Gift Box using standard 65lb cardstock.  The measurements for the box I got from Julie at 'The Paper Pixie'.  It measures  3 1/2" x  6 1/2'' x  1''.

I designed the sunflower by using images found on Creative Fabrica website.  The wood panel paper also came from there.  I brought it into Photoshop Elements for sizing.  The 2'' plastic dome used to make the glitter shaker is from Amazon.

Fill it up with a fun treat.  I did make an error by gluing the top tabs in my video.  So please watch for the part where I corrected that.

HALLOWEEN ACCORDION CARD

I originally saw an 'Accordion Style Card' tutorial made by Stampin' Up Rep Lisa Curio last year.  It has become one of my favorites.  The card measures 5 1/2'' x  16'' when fully extended.

I was inspired to make a Halloween themed card because of a great digital kit by Touky Designs called 'Spooky Nightmares' sold on Etsy.  This is the front cover.

This is the back cover.  The background papers are from a Graphic 45 kit called 'Charmed'.

DOUBLE SHADOW BOX

I was inspired to make my own 'Shadow Box' after seeing a video by Sam at Mixed Up Craft.  I used cardstock from Flutter Collection by G45.  I decorated the front using tiny paper flowers from a Tim Holtz die called 'Tattered florals'.  I glued them in the center of silk flowers.  Leaves are from a die of unknown origin.

The two frames are hinged together so they can open and close.

Here is the sentiment on the back which I designed.

TWIST-n-POP CARD

I created this 'Twist-n-Pop' card as a Get Well Card.  It measures 4'' x  6''.  I saw a video made by Collette Mitrega a few years ago and it became one of favorite cards.  I have used her instructions for the basic measurements ever since.

Opened up the card measures  4'' x  12''.  Background papers and the frogs are from Creative Fabrica.  I brought them into Photoshop for sizing and mounted them on my own background design.

Here is the back side.  I fussy cut this 'Nurse' frog from clip art on the internet.

Here is a video on my YouTube channel if you would like to follow along and make one of you own.

PICNIC CENTERPIECE

I created this 'Picnic Centerpiece' using regular cardstock.  Bottom of the box is reinforced with medium weight chipboard.

Here's the second side.  I used Americana colors from the 'Chicory Cottage' kit on Etsy.  Stars are a punch and attached with pop ups.  Military emblems are from clip art on the internet.  I found the American eagle on Creative Fabrica's site.

Both ends have the same sentiment.  Centerpiece measures  4'' x  8''  x  4''.

I have a video on my YouTube channel if you would like to make one of your own.

EASEL CARD TOPPED BOX

I created this project using papers from the Graphic 45 collection called 'Let It Bee'.  It is a  6'' x  6'' x  1 1/2'' box topped with an easel card.

The easel card is held in place by three layers of patterned paper .  I made the large rose using the  'Tattered Floral' die by Tim Holtz.  The smaller roses that cluster around it are made with an ek floral punch.  Very small. They measure one inch.

Inside the box is a photo album.

This is the backside of the easel card.

The photo album stretches out to twelve inches.

There is a video of this project on my YouTube Channel..

SEASCAPE FUN FOLD CARD

I was inspired to create my own version of this 'Fun Fold Card' after watching a tutorial by Terri Walker.  It measures  4'' x  6''.  Front flap is held together with a small magnet.

The card opens to reveal the sentiment section. Patterned paper is from a digital kit from Etsy called 'Whimsical Seascape'.

Lighthouse and seagull ephemera is from clip art on the internet.  I brought them into Photoshop for sizing then fussy cut them out.

HERE is a YouTube video if you would like to make one yourself.

The funky cartoon chickens are from a kit by Etsy designer 'Digital Artwork Co.'

MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE

I created this 'Message in a Bottle' free standing table decoration by using 100 lb cardstock.  For the bottle I used a bottle shaped die. I glued two together for front and back for strength.   It measures  3 1/2" x  9" x  1 1/2".  I used my Scan-n-Cut machine to cut out the different layers and tags.

Background papers are from a kit called 'Nautical Junk Journal' by Etsy designer Veriepear.

Close up of clear plastic dome filled with glitter and beads.

The hidden drawer on the side can be pushed out and filled with treasures.  There is a video on my YouTube channel to make the drawer.  Please see 'Flip Top Box' and follow the directions for inside box.

EASTER GIFT BOX

I used 100 lb white cardstock to create this little 'Easter Gift Box".  It measures  5 1/2'' x  3 1/2'' and is 1 1/2'' deep.  Background papers are scrapes from my stash.

Here's a side view.  The grass is cut from a die made by the Alina Craft Company. I put shredded paper inside the box and will fill with candies.

I made a template of the images and fussy cut them out.  The bunny and eggs are from clip art on the internet.  I designed the sentiment for the background and cut it out with an oval die.

If you would like to make some of your own, I have a video on my YouTube channel.  Here is a LINK:
