STABLE DOOR CARD

I designed this Stable Door Card for Easter.  It measures 4" x   6".  Jan, a demonstrator for Stampin' Up has a wonderful video on how to put this card together.  That is HERE.

I made my own templates in Photoshop Elements for the background papers.  The bunny and the eggs are from clip art on the internet.

This is the card opened up.

Here's the back.  Grass is a 'Honey Bee' die called 'Grass Border'.

NAUTICAL BOX

I created this 'Nautical Box' as a good place to store cards and envelopes.  It  measures  6"x 6" and is 2" deep.  I used regular  black cardstock.

Making my own templates to fit the different layers, I used papers from a digital kit called 'Mermaid Chronicales' by Royanna.  The ephemeras is also from that kit.  Sea shells are from my stash.

Stationery Gift Box

I created this as a 'Gift Box' to hold stationery or recipe cards. Finished measurements are  6 1/2" x  4 1/2".   Using the measurements by Karon from Karon's Krafty Korner,  I made templates that I covered with papers from my stash.  You can find Karon's instructions HERE.

Box with the belly band removed.  The Steampunk bear came from clip art on the internet.  I brought it into Photoshop for sizing and coloring.

I designed a set of cards using a digital kit called 'Tickets To Dragons End' by Lorie Davidson at Studio Girls.

Some are 'Thank You' cards and some are 'Thinking Of You' cards.  Printed on ivory cardstock they fit into  6 1/4" x  4 1/4"  envelopes.

FUNKIE JUNKIE BOUTIQUE BLOG CHALLENGE

The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog has a fun challenge for January.  The theme is called 'Put A Good Word In'.  We have been asked to design a project using words of encouragement or of a positive nature.  You can find more about this challenge at their blog HERE.

For my project I chose to alter this  2 1/2" x  4"  block of wood.  After covering it with cardstock I mounted it on a wooden stand.  I spritzed it with Distress Spray Stain Pumice Stone by Tim Holtz.  Then burnished the edges with  Tempting Turquoise ink from Stampin' Up.

I made my own embellishments by bringing a bird into Photoshop Elements for sizing and coloring.   I fancy cut all the pieces out and burnished the edges with colored inks.

These clumps of grass for the top were made with Tim Holtz's die called Tiny Tattered Florals.  I spritzed them with Pumice Stone Spray and a touch of Glimmer Mist.

This is a close up of my chosen words which are also my mantra for the new year.
...IMAGINE...CREATE...INSPIRE...

Close up of the birds nestled in their glimmer grass with hearts floating above them.

Both sides have shinny gold paper mats with design cardstock on top.

This is the back.  Also has shinny gold paper mat with design cardstock on top.

POP-UP VALENTINE BOX CARD

I created this 'Pop-Up Valentine Box Card' using regular cardstock.  The basic directions are from Split Coast Stampers.  You can find their tutorial HERE.  It measures about 6 1/2" x  4" and folds up into a  6" x  7" envelope made on an envelope punch board.

I brought the template measurements into Photoshop and designed the papers with Valentine themed papers.  The dog is from clip art on the internet.  All embellishments are two sided so the card looks colorful and complete from every direction.

Here's the back with a plain sheet for sentiments.

ARROW FOLD CARD

I  created this 'Arrow Fold Card' using papers from my stash.  Not sure of the collection name but I'm sure they are Graphic 45 papers.  Card measures  5" x  7".  The flower embellishments are cut from a digital kit by 'Fred She Said Designs'.

This is the card opened up with additional flowers.  There is plenty of space for a sentiment.  There is a very good Video by Sam at 'Mixed Up Crafts' that inspired me to make my card.  You can find that HERE.

ALTERED BOOK BOX

I purchased a cardboard box at The Dollar Tree that opened up like a book.  So I simply turned it on it's side and made it into a box.  It measures  5" x  7" with a  2 1/2" spine.  I made templates in Photoshop Elements to fit the top, bottom and spine.  I covered them with a wild print that I found on the internet.

This is the spine of the 'book box'.  Sentiment was attached with pop up dots.  As you can see I attached round black beads to the bottom as feet.

Here's a close up of the top.  The birds are double sided cardstock images cut out with my Scan-n-Cut.  They are placed in and around a grouping of real rocks.  The greenery is made up of various dies.
